Personal data we collect and why

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials and authentication tokens, and your approval or subscription status. Used to create and secure your account and provide the Service. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Profile and preference data — aircraft, seat, base and longevity year. Used to personalize trip pay values. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Content you submit — uploaded bid packages and reference documents, chat questions, saved searches, and feedback. Used to generate answers and analyses and to improve accuracy. Legal basis: contract performance and our legitimate interest in improving the Service.
• Support and communications — help requests, feedback messages and email preferences. Used to respond to you and send service notices. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
• Usage and technical data — pages visited, actions taken, session times, device and browser information, IP address and log data. Used for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
• Subscription records — subscription status, plan, renewal dates and the customer identifier supplied by Paddle. We do not collect or store your card details. Legal basis: contract performance and legal obligation.

Automated features

Chat answers and bid package analyses are produced with AI models operated by our processors. Your prompts and relevant document excerpts are sent to those providers to generate a response. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models.

Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, AI model providers, and mapping/event data providers, each acting on our instructions.
• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, which sells the subscription to you and handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

Retention

We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and for up to seven years afterwards where required for tax and legal records. Uploaded documents, analyses and chat logs are retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within 12 months of account closure. Technical logs are typically retained for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of marketing email at any time. UK and EEA residents may also complain to their supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month. Email support@widgetinsights.us to exercise any right.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level access controls, role-based administration and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and secure the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any analytics we run is limited to aggregate product usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though sign-in will stop working without the essential ones.

Changes

We may update this notice and will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date. If changes are significant we will notify you by email or in the app.
